I have owned this vehicle for almost
four years and in that time have had very little trouble. I have had a new
alternator fitted last year, two new 135amp hour leisure
batteries in March and a new exhaust system in June this year. The servicing has
been carried out by a fully trained Mercedes mechanic with his own business
specialising in Mercedes commercial vehicles who is a personal friend of mine. I
have all the MOT certificates from the first one.
The build quality of the living area is superb and other than a few minor
repairs and general maintenance has not given me any problems and is in
excellent condition. No smokers and no pets. From the front roller shutter back the whole vehicle is
double glazed. The motorhome is completely winterized and all the water tanks
are inboard. I have camped in freezing conditions, well below 0 and have been
very comfortable. With the two 85w solar panels the leisure batteries stay
charged, as long as the sun shines, even when the TV is used every night. I keep
a 90kgs scooter in the garage and there is a fitted ramp for loading. There is very slight damage to the O/S rear corner (see
photo) but otherwise it's just a few stone chips from every day use.
